I’d say these were Common Ringed Plovers but my Audubon bird book says those don’t come to the Oregon Coast. So they must be the Semipalmated Plover.

Red in the morning…
I woke up early (not on purpose) and hoped to catch a moonset; based on last night’s pretty moonrise. But the ‘old man’ was hiding behind the clouds.
Haven’t seen many jellies on the beach this year – and nothing since last fall. There was one, lone, sea nettle this morning.
Looks heavy! I wonder what it was?
The campground bunnies were scarce during the storms but we’ve seen them quite frequently lately. These brush rabbits are common on the Oregon coast.
