Yaquina Bay south jetty is a favorite lunch spot for us.
What do they fish for from the south jetty? Maybe the same thing the seals do?
Every so often you can see the seals jumping and splashing. I don’t know if they were chasing food or just playing.
Fishermen were coming in as the tide was going out.
This Harlequin male doesn’t look like he’s in full breeding color. Not sure how fast they change. Maybe, since he’s married now, he’s changing back so he doesn’t attract more ladies?
