The Fog Lifted Today

But that’s not the only thing…I also had time to use my camera.

Tillicum Squirrel

This mama squirrel was so focused on getting her food storage that she didn’t mind us being so close.  She was right over our truck and making a real mess.  Don nudged the branch to see if he could bug her and get her to move.  She didn’t move much but she peed on his truck.   hahaha

So after we got our spirits lifted at church, we ran out to Canal Creek Campground to lock the gate after the reservation group left.

They weren’t finished packing yet so we went snackin’ on blackberries.

We walked over to the larger group area; where the pavilion is.  There were so many apples rotting on the ground that we could smell them from the pavilion.  Looks like a pretty good variety on the 4 trees near the restroom.

There are a lot of fishermen in the upper bay of the Alsea.  Somebody must be catchin’!

It’s a beautiful day on the coast!  The fog has lifted.

I’m going for a walk on the beach!

Tillicum Beach

The larger swells we’ve had the last couple days have changed the beach dramatically.  There is NO sign of the ghost forest stumps or the agates!  And I can see that the high tide is coming up further on the beach than it has since July.
