I love watching wildlife. I especially love watching wildlife interact with each other.
Something caught my eye on the beach. It was out at the minus tide line. I saw the 2 large birds but didn’t see the white heads that far away. As I got closer, I discovered there were 2 bald eagles on the beach! I had to use the highest zoom and snapped as many as possible as I inched towards them. There was no telling how close they’d let me get.
After the one adult flew off, the young eagle flew in. They were eating a dead bird.
Looks like SOMEBODY didn’t get her way?
I’ve seen that tantrum at the grocery store. 🙂
I even found another float today! I’m always surprised when there are other people on the beach and no one has picked up the float. This one was small enough that it didn’t stand out when I looked down the beach.
The bullwhip kelp that I usually see here has darker leaves. But all of it today was this light color. This one is unusual, too, because it is covered in barnacles.
