There were some great waves crashing in Yachats this afternoon. We watched some from the park north of the bay then went over to Yachats Ocean Rd.
Snapping pix before that rain cloud comes in. We had about 10 minutes but the wind was icy!
We caught a couple good ones on camera but it was more fun to watch than to work on my timing. There are a few homes with front row seats here. I think one of them is still for sale. Wouldn’t THAT be awesome?! …right up until that tsunami showed up :-}
I don’t know if Yachats got snow last night. We didn’t get any at Tillicum. However, just up the Alsea Hwy, Blackberry Campground has snow on the ground.
It’s a good thing the ladies still have their fur coats on! The elk really stand out against the snow.
These elk send their salutations to Mom and Dad. 🙂 Sorry they missed you! This is the 3rd herd we saw today along the Alsea Hwy.
It’s supposed to warm up and be a great weather weekend for camping on the Central Oregon Coast!
