Where’d all the sand go?

What a difference a “little” rain makes!  hahaha

We’re tired tonight.  Busy checking out all the campgrounds for the wind damage.  Nothing too bad, just a lot of cleanup, and the hosts are doing a super job in Blackberry and Sutton.  Sutton has been without power for 3 days now!

Anyway, I’ll just post some of the pix I got before dark.  First let me apologize for the lack of focus. They’re really not worth looking at unless you’ve been here.  It’s the wind’s fault.  It was hard to stand still!

If you’ve been here, though, hopefully you can tell enough to see the difference from this summer, or even 2 days ago!

Not exactly geezer-friendly anymore!

I remember my 2 year old grandson walking, straight off the sand, to that round carving in November.

The top 6 inches of this stump has been playing hide-n-seek for a year!

Now there are 4!

There must be 5 feet of sand missing!  I think we’ve reached the floor.  But there still aren’t agate beds exposed.  Speaking of agates, there’s an Agate Festival in Yachats this weekend!

The wind is blowing from the south.  So, I walked from the south to the north stairs to keep the wind at my back.
