Dog sitting takes a little more time than I thought it would. But we are glad to do it. Shedaisy is very easy to care for. She is such a sweetie.
I didn’t get any good wave pictures but it wasn’t from a lack of trying. I just wasn’t in the right place at the right time. Workamping duties took us elsewhere at the “right time” – for photos anyway. 🙂
Here’s what I did find:
Ever seen a mustache go gray before the beard?
We stopped in Yachats to see if we could catch big waves during the high surf warning. But it was low tide. No big crashes but I wasn’t the only one watching.
So I’ll steal a couple photos from Patty (perfect timing with the seagull!):
These people are not being safe.
Standing on rocks like this are not safe during a high surf warning or when the tide is coming in. There is no where to run AND it is hard to run on these rocks. They are either slippery or uneven or both. It doesn’t take much of a wave to knock you off balance. Several people lose their lives each year by being in an unsafe place to view the ocean. Know your escape route.
What an incredible display of colors from Tillicum Campground! Thanks Patty!
