Don kept a couple Jo-sized meals – a dolly varden (top) and a jack (immature silver).
He got into some pretty good lookin’ silvers in the Harris River yesterday evening. Our last day fishing on Prince of Wales Island. He caught a couple cohos, couple pinks and I don’t know what else.
It was a beautiful day for a ferry ride! We drove to the north end of Ketchikan to Settler’s Cove Campground. This is our view!
There is a waterfall on Luck Creek where the pink salmon are spawning. The trail starts at the campground. We walked up to the bridge and saw this kitty kat watching the fish. I think his eyes are bigger than his stomach. He didn’t try to catch any but he sure looked curious.
Don is now catching sea bass from the rocky shoreline.
