Redwood National Park, California

What amazing trees! Some are over 700 years old. They are resistant to fire due to a water layer in their bark. We camped in a little RV Park on the harbor in Crescent City. We could hear the bouys that make a foghorn-type sound when the wave moves them. I thought it would keep me awake but it didn’t. It was called Shoreline RV Park. The managers were nice and kept the bathrooms and showers very clean. The price was very reasonable; about $21 for water and electric hookups. Not a very scenic place but it worked for what we needed. We unhooked and toured the redwoods during the day.
